HBID’s Design in a Box
We are delighted to offer our services to help those of you who like DIY, or are too far away for us to visit you. Normally we have several client meetings and many staff meetings needed to pull all the details together for our custom design. With the Design in a Box service we provide you with all you need via shopping online and at your local retail stores.
Once you contact us for the service, we will email you a contract, which you sign and return to us with the associated design fee. You will receive instructions on how to photograph and measure your space, as well as a questionnaire to help you tell us what your style is and what colors you like. If you have any tear sheets from magazines, you can also email those to inspire us.
In 3-5 weeks, you will receive your box. Inside will be:

- A fully colored rendering of the space, showing numbered placement for chosen products.
- <span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: " times="" new="" roman";"="">Paint Swatches: Benjamin Moore (you can color match these if need be)
- Fabric Swatches
- The Purchasing list: includes product names, SKU#, Colors and Ordering information.
- Included are to different color palettes for you to choose from.
We begin work on your project upon receipt of your payment to us. Because of this, there is NO REFUND once payment is received by us. Designing your room takes many hours of research, planning, drawing and creative work that cannot be taken back once started.
Please be considerate of this process, as sending us payment acts as your acknowledgement of this policy. Providing us with an invalid email address or not completing your questionnaire, are not considered reasons for refund. Word of mouth is our best form of advertising. We want to have happy clients.
